 One of the ministries of the Church involves the liturgical role of servers who assist the priest at the altar at Mass and other devotions. Any young boy or girl who has made their First Holy Communion can become an Altar Server. They can remain Altar Servers until they feel itis the right time for them to leave. The Altar Servers are trained by the Sacristan, Noel, at St Peter's Church. The Altar Servers operate on a rota basis, servicing the Saturday Evening and Sunday Masses. The altar server assists the priest at Mass and other Church services. Servers are trained over the summer. An annual Altar Server Schedule for the entire calendar year is issued following that training. If you are interested why not talk to any of the Priests. |
