The Cross Purposes Group was established in the Spring of 2005 to look at ways the different religious groups in the Lurgan district could establish a common ground.

During 2005 joint projects were:

• Frank McCorry’s talk at the Town Hall
• The Arts & Craft display
• Cross Community Carol Service

Meetings of the Cross Purposes Group take place on a quarterly basis.
