Many visitors to our church comment on how well-kept it is, always clean, bright and tidy.

St Peter’s parish is fortunate to have a band of dedicated people who take it in turn to clean the Church.  These people work in teams and operate on a rota basis – one team per week, polishing, washing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting, so that the church always looks ready to welcome the next visitor to come through the doors.

‘A and B’ teams work during the day on a Friday and ‘C and D’ teams work on a Friday evening after the 7.00 pm Mass.  It only takes 1½ to clean the Church.

We are asking for more volunteers. The work will entail just over an hour of your time once a month. If you would like to volunteer your time, then please contact the Parish office as soon as possible.
