St. Peter’s Parish - Offertory Promise Renewal Campaign 2007 |

As it is now at least 15 years since there was a renewal of the Offertory Promise Parish Collection it has been decided to have one this year. Whereas the collection has remained steady over the years, its value in terms of purchasing power is depreciating. In this campaign parishioners are being asked to review their contributions to the various collections.
Within the next couple of weeks every adult in St. Peter’s Parish will be sent an appeal brochure which will explain how parishioners can help the parish meet its financial responsibilities. It is hoped that this brochure will give parishioners an opportunity to reflect on the financial needs of our parish and to consider how they can help to increase the parish income. The Parish Distributors, who have very kindly volunteered to deliver material from time to time, are asked to ensure the delivery of the addressed envelopes before next weekend. There will then be an explanation of our present financial situation and an appeal for our parishioners’ generosity and good will. After this appeal parishioners will be asked to make their response by completing the return cards attached to the brochure. |
