Monsignor Aidan Hamill
A native of Ballymagin, Magheralin (Parish of Magheralin). His parents were Hugh & Teresa Hamill. As a boy he attend St. Patrick’s Primary School, Magheralin, a teenager at St. Colman’s Newry. and then St. Patrick’s College, Carlow. Aidan Hamill was ordained a Priest by Most Rev. Eugene O’Doherty, Bishop of Dromore, in St. Patrick’s Church, Magheralin on 8th June, 1969.

Father John Byrne
Father John Byrne is a native of Newry, Co Down. He was educated at St Colman’s College Newry and then entered Maynooth Seminary, Co Kildare to study for the Priesthood. Fr Byrne was ordained to the Priesthood by Bishop F G Brooks in Newry Cathedral on Sunday 16 June 1991. After ordination Fr Byrne served in the Parish of Seapatrick, Banbridge for one year. Father Bryne was appointed to St Peter's, Lurgan in September 1992. Fr Byrne has a keen interest in classical music and all types of sport. |
