 Monsignor Aidan Hamill
A native of Ballymagin, Magheralin (Parish of Magheralin). His parents were Hugh & Teresa Hamill. As a boy he attend St. Patrick’s Primary School, Magheralin, a teenager at St. Colman’s Newry. and then St. Patrick’s College, Carlow. Aidan Hamill was ordained a Priest by Most Rev. Eugene O’Doherty, Bishop of Dromore, in St. Patrick’s Church, Magheralin on 8th June, 1969. |
